Sam’s story
I started in weddings. In my first years I filmed one, two, sometimes three a weekend, about a hundred all up, and learned more about people and light than any course could teach. It also burned me out, so I moved into real estate film and spent six years building HOUSE HYPE into a studio with a team, a workflow, and a reputation for visuals that sell.
That team gave me my weekends back. So I’m returning to the thing I love most, with a rule I didn’t have the first time: a small number of weddings a year, filmed by me, with a second filmmaker on most of them, each one given everything I’ve got. You’ll have a good time with us on the day. Then you’ll have the film forever.
Where we film
Small, on purpose.
I film every wedding myself. With The Vows it’s just me. With The Story and The Heirloom a second filmmaker works beside me, so both getting-ready rooms are covered and nothing important happens off camera.
I only take on fifteen to thirty weddings a year, so every edit gets the time it needs. Never without fun, always one hundred percent. If I’m already booked on your date, I’ll tell you straight away.
