On the day

Editorial, documentary, high energy.

Small cameras. Lights only when we need them. We’re not bossy and we mostly stay out of the way, so the day feels like yours, not a shoot. The energy comes in the edit: fast where it should be fast.

We film the day you’re actually having. Most of it we just capture. A few moments we’ll set up with you, because a good story needs its scenes.

Every vow and every speech is recorded three ways: a lapel on you, a feed from the PA, and a mic on a recorder. The words are what you’ll come back to, so we never leave them to chance.

  1. Day one

    You tell us about your day

    Two minutes on our enquiry form. We check your date straight away and email you every price. I reply within one business day.

  2. That week

    A 20-minute call

    I introduce myself, hear about your day and walk you through the collections. No pressure, just a conversation about what you want to feel when you watch it back.

  3. Booking

    Your proposal, signed online

    A proposal shaped around your day, with your date held for seven days. Sign online in a few minutes, pay 50% to hold the date, and your private portal opens. The balance is due the week before.

  4. The day

    Sam, and a second filmmaker

    I film every wedding myself. On The Story and The Heirloom a second filmmaker works beside me, so nothing is missed while I’m with the two of you. Until the day, we handle everything behind the scenes and only get in touch when we need something.

  5. After

    Your films arrive

    Your highlight film within 14 days of the wedding. Your full films within 8 weeks, in your private gallery. We email you the moment each one is ready.
